Affordable senior housing

This new 17 story affordable senior housing tower adjacent to Honolulu’s Chinatown fulfills the City’s RFP goal of providing needed affordable housing for our senior population.

To create a vibrant community for seniors the project includes a one-story community center (pictured below) for both community and tenant events. Atop the parking podium is an open recreation deck featuring a walking path, exercise equipment, long-term bike storage, a dog park and common area laundry facility.

The facade window and EIFS wall patterning recalls the structure of bamboo where the jogs in the window system simulate the knots found in bamboo segments.

Individual units are efficient with a kitchen/ dining area as you enter with a living room beyond. Living rooms and bedrooms have operable windows for passive ventilation as well as individual a/c units in the living rooms.
